Soni Nayak is the Founder and Managing Lawyer of LinQ Law, an Edmonton-based law firm providing practical, client-focused legal guidance to individuals, families, and businesses across Alberta.
Soni brings more than 20 years of legal experience spanning international corporate law and Canadian legal practice. She began her career at an international law firm in India, advising multinational companies in sectors including pharmaceuticals and consumer goods. Her corporate experience includes mergers and acquisitions, cross-border transactions, insolvency, regulatory matters, and commercial legal strategy.
Her practice also includes family law matters such as separation, divorce, parenting and child custody, child welfare, and negotiated settlements. As a LESA-certified mediator in family and divorce conflicts, Soni helps clients approach sensitive disputes with clarity, preparation, and a focus on practical resolution.
Soni earned her first LLB from the University of Mumbai and completed further legal education at York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. She is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and a non-practising member of the Law Society of Ontario. Through LinQ Law, she combines international perspective with responsive, straightforward counsel tailored to each client’s circumstances.
